Who is your Inspiration?

When we came back from our holiday break in January, we started working on a blog post

about New Year's Resolutions. Overwhelmingly, our spellers let us know that they are not super into resolutions

or that idea for a post! As Sam said, "I kind of don't like resolutions. A kind of gift not to need to set them, so I am not going to get one this year."

So - in true Speller Space fashion - we turned the discussion over to the spellers instead,

and Luke came up with this beautiful idea for a post:

Luke:  Who is your inspiration?

Mine is my brother. All he does is cool. Getting to be around him is like having love shine on you. Always happiness around his being.

Rose: My thought is I have too many to count. I love this question Luke. This is a lot to think about. I am inspired by all spellers everywhere. 

Joe: Good problem to have. I can’t think of just one. I kind of love how I find inspiration in all people. I even find inspiration in negativity because I am inspired not to be that way. 

Danny: My inspiration is everyone who found how to communicate. 

Maudey: I want to write about my mom. My mom is the most inspiring person I know. She is strong and free. Having her as an example makes loving easy. Her example is what makes me love life.

Joe: Maudey, I am inspired by your mom too. Really love her spirit.

Alex D: Always inspired by Rose. Always am my best self because of her. Also inspired by my mom and dad who are the most authentic people. Also my brother for his kind heart. Feel lucky to have support from the best people. 

Rose: Alex this is my favorite. This is beautiful. You inspire me with your strong heart. The strongest heart I know. This is really so true. 

Maudey: Have to say Rosie and Alex feel so sweet. Joe, I love that you love my mom too. 

Jack: My inspiration is my brother Sam. My brother Ben too. Sam is so open hearted. He learns about all people because he wants to understand them. Ben is so true to himself. He can do anything because he gives one hundred percent to what he loves. 

Luke: I love these answers. Happy to hear more about the people in your lives. I like learning about you guys.
